Halal certification for drinks and beverage brands
Beverage brands face the toughest ingredient scrutiny of any category: flavourings, emulsifiers, colours and carriers are all common alcohol-risk points. GHC reviews every input, including carrier solvents inside flavour houses' specifications, before issuing your certificate.
Why beverage brands get halal certified
Flavour carriers and extracts are the most common reason a drink fails a halal audit.
Distributors in halal-regulated markets will not clear stock without certification.
Alcohol-free positioning is a growing premium category well beyond Muslim consumers.
One certificate can cover an entire product range submitted together.

Common questions
What about alcohol used as a flavour carrier?
We review the declared carrier and residual level on every flavour specification. Products formulated with alcohol as a functional ingredient are out of scope.
Can I certify a whole range at once?
Yes. Submit the range together and we assess each SKU inside the same three-day window.
